Job Title: Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect to join our team. As the Microsoft Azure Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based systems on the Azure platform. You will work closely with the development and design teams to ensure that our systems are scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise architecture, business analysis, and software engineering, along with excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create architectural designs and technical specifications for cloud-based systems on the Microsoft Azure platform

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop a strategic technology roadmap to support business objectives

• Define and document enterprise cloud architecture principles, standards, and guidelines on the Microsoft Azure platform

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance organizational efficiency on the Microsoft Azure platform

• Evaluate emerging Microsoft Azure cloud technologies and provide recommendations on their potential impact on the organization

• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards on the Microsoft Azure platform

• Lead and mentor technical teams in the development of cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform

• Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors to ensure alignment of technology solutions with business objectives on the Microsoft Azure platform

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between IT and business departments to ensure effective delivery of cloud-based technology solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, software development, or IT leadership roles

• Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure architectures and technologies

• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman

• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

• Experience with mobile applications is a plus
